Communication Theory & Practice (CTP) Blog 1: Intrapersonal Communication and Career Goals
I’m most interested in the aspect of intrapersonal communication. I see it as the base level of all forms of communication. Whether through internal vocalization or reflective thinking, I think it’s interesting how we can be so in tune with ourselves. In my opinion, intrapersonal communication is essential to discovering who we truly are as individuals. Personal beliefs, opinions, and ideals are all discovered via this type of communication. Without it, the concept of identity wouldn’t be evident, and if that were the case, individuality would cease to exist.
